Practically lived on Meadfoot Beach from about 1953 to 1967. Lived at the Pembroke Hotel now called the Marstan (???) and "worked" on the boats which were owned by the Wheaton ??? family. Unfortunately there has been a lot of erosion over the years and it is not as attractive any more. But great memories there - with friends and my two brothers Roy and Dave and "aunty" Astrid. Live in NZ now after moving here from Sweden- so can't visit Torquay as much these days.
