Suggesting that a serious discussion on cheese be relegated to the Utter Nonsense of Utter Nonsense is inconceiveable. Men have died defending cheese recipe's and communities have grown rich and prosperous by it's manufacture. Comedians such as Jim Bowen, Cannon and ball and the late, lamented Jewel and Warris earned acclaim with an endless litany of cheesy jokes. Mens socks have adopted a cheesy odour if worn for more than a fortnight and......well I think you've got the point.

Ann these caramelised tarts of yours, were they fat and did any of them dance ?

Arthur, truly the Queen of cheese must be Roquefort,a sheeps cheese matured in caves high in the mountains around Grenoble, eaten with a hunk of crusty baguette and a jug of the local rough cider, the sky suddenly becomes translucent blue, the colours and scent of the flowers become overwhelming, and one becomes so relaxed and at peace with the world, especially after the third jug !!

I'm busy washing at the moment. I've only been back home half an hour as I've been at my mum's dusting, polishing and vacuuming throughout. I also did her bathroom and kitchen. A regular Mrs. Mopps. Mum comes back from holiday tomorrow. I shall bake her a shepherds pie and a fruit crumble and take them round in the morning.

At the moment our house is a bit untidy, youngest son is getting ready for his move out. We have fifteen cases in the dining room and that is only the beginning. Soon wardrobes, and bookcases will be coming downstairs. I thought he'd be moving out this week but he says not. He wants to put up some shelving and buy in his kitchen white furniture and buy also a three piece. He thinks move day may be a week on Friday.

Our son is a very laid back sort of person. If it had been either of our other two children they would have been moving in as the other folks were moving out and be nearly jumping out of their skins.

Just thought I'd bring this back to the first page. Clocks go BACK tonight so an extra hour in bed.....or an extra hour watching repeats on the telly if you prefer. Indian summer never happened, in fact snow forecast........hope they get that wrong too.
