I remember Mr Henderson (trying) to teach us RE. I also remember an old, old man Doc Mclaren who had been something big in the Education dept, being brought in to do the same. This was the era when teachers were thin on the ground - c1975/76.

Yep while the teachers we lusted after may well have been horrid to you boys...they were great eye candy to us girls! We had bad teachers of our own to deal with...it was good to have something restful for the eyes at times!

Miss May was a legend and what about Miss Thom was it the PE/ dance teacher who looked a bit like Kate Bush?

FatMann was scary, I was so glad not to ever get him as a teacher.

Mr Helps the Welsh Latin teacher was quite formidable...think I remember some of the boys tied him to the rugby post one year LOL

Mr Funai was priceless...I liked Nobby Clark the art teacher...cant remember the other art teachers name - short dark hair with glasses....

What about the Arithmetic teacher- had class at front of school???? And the scary history teacher, the woman- made you stand on the desk when doing tests and could only sit when you answered correctly.....the weird Geography teacher - Mr Barr? had a name for his belt and spoke like it was real.....
