Mrs Hall

I remember Mrs Hall - she had this reputation to do with her nose.I think it was probably a bit mythical really.

I thought she was really great - a really nice lady. Her friend the sports teacher (Miss 'something' - her name escapes me!), was also really nice.

Anyone else like those two?

Whodunnit?

Remember the day Lord Mountbatten came to open the "new" school? Who painted, "Mountbatten = war monger" in 3ft high white letters on the sports equipment store, so that Lord Louie couldn't miss it on his way up the drive?

Further to the entry added by Tony Doyle. The only person I saw fall in was your sister! We were on our way to RE and she had to hang her formerly white/now green 'tea bag'shoes out of the window to dry!

"WAR MONGER"

hI dAVE,
Re the white paint incident.
It wasn't me!
I was in the lower sixth at the time and we thought it may have been a political activist in the upper sixth. As far as I am aware it never known who, for sure, was responsible.

Library Teacher

Anyone remeber Mr Wetherall the library teacher. A short dumpy man whose claimto fame was that he once guarded the Boston Strangler. His favourite line was (while tapping you on the head at the same time) "You silly, stupid, foolish rediculous imbecile" I still use that line on my two sons who think I have lost the plot!
