Remember Big Rodney Dick hurling his briefcase half way across the west playground catching Danny Neill in the back of the knees making him crumple. What a shot!!
Also when the school got a cracking new HiFi in 1976 ish and I told Mr Isaacs the man from Venereal Hi-Fi was downstairs - he did look at me funny!
Gregor never told me his sister was called Wenona - we knew her as wendy!!!

The PANTS Party

Anyone remember the 1997 school elections when the pants party performed some amazing stunts namely running into classes wearing pants on our heads; kidnapping Mr Dunlop from the school canteen and stripping him behind a screen on the stage... the list goes on!!!!

Or how about the pants effort in getting Mrs Nicol, Mrs Meek and Mrs Tinning to sing on stage (very briefly)!!! WE SHOULD HAVE WON!!!!!!!!

I remember the pants party! What fun....and we still didn't win! Oh well, at least it got us out of class....SYS english to be specific :-)

grog alley

is probably one of the most disgusting, but legendary things about belmont. as a first year i had been forewarned by my older brother so i dutifully stayed away. gone are the days when all you had to worry about was being caught out in grog alley..

Mr Funai

I remember Mr Funai coming to my home for lunch, my sister had somehow befriended him (nothing dodgy). Remember the ice cream shop in Girvan - the best! Does anyone know where he is these days?
