The school grew out of the Ursuline Convent which was established in 1963. In 1973 it became a Community School in the modern comprehensive tradition with the Ursuline Sisters contributing to its success. We seek to foster the growth of young people in all their richness: moral, academic, social and physical. Those who choose the Community School do so in the knowledge that the school will value each student for his or her own personal gifts. The school is multi-denominational and welcomes students from all religious backgrounds and traditions.
