In 1972, Grove Park Boys Grammar became Grove Park Comprehensive and Grove Park Girls Grammar became Bromfield Comprehensive. In 1985? the two comprehensives Grove Park & Bromfield were merged to form The Groves High School. It is proposed that in 2003? the Groves will close.
