Millburn Junior Secondary School opened Aug 1961,this school was built as Inverness High School was overcrowded, only 2nd and 1 st year pupils that year. Mr Mathieson was Head Master ,Mr Sharp taught English,Mr McDonald taught Maths,Mr Wetherspoon taught Science and as I believe he aslo went on to be Head Master at a later date. I visited my old school many years later and oh my goodness what a surprise it is now Millburn Academy and four times bigger if not more. there was also a Miss Robertson and she possibly taught Geograghy or History.
