Sultan Ismail Primary School was founded in 1956. In 1958 it was split into School (1) and School (2). It moved to Jalan Kuala Krai in 1962 from where Sultan Ismail College is located i.e Jalan Telipot. My dad, Durbara singh was the first headmaster from 1956 to Dec 1970. Mr Koe Koon Chye took over. Mr Mohamad Ali was the 3rd headmaster.
