Lived it loved it ..Middlesbrough was a great place ..but has changed so much ...and all the character has gone ....Shame

Love the shot, Ghers Mills iron works are visible where my father worked from the early 1930's until just before they closed. I remember taking him meals there if he had to work a double shift and having trips to the top of the furnaces. No health & safety in those days.
