I'm sure it wasMarch 1968 because I was there . This 47year Polceman was a mounted Policeman and he was invalided out of the force. I was lucky that day in March 1968 because I was in a Reserve Group ready as a last gasp to stop people entering what was American Territory . I saw G. I.s walking round with machine pistols and I've often wondered 'What If' ? In the October 1968 riots I was in the front line facing scafold pole charges and glass jar weed killer bombs stuffed with steel marbles.
