Beverly Hills police are investigating a complaint that Aldrin punched a man in the face after being asked to swear on a Bible that he had been to the moon. Bart Sibrel, 37, claims the former Apollo 11 crew member punched him and ran off after he tried to interview him outside the Luxe Hotel on Rodeo Drive.
It was the first time I ever stayed up all night & and I got my parents up as Armstrong stepped onto the moon.

I was working at a Brooklyn New York telephone exchange we saw the whole thing on color T>V it was wonderful we all cheered like made, after the landing the whole exchange was a sea of lights every one was phoning what a great day

I still can't quite believe that man has walked on the moon. The local pub changed its name from man in the moon . to "MAN ON THE MOON"

Our son was born that day - Neil landed on Earth the day Neil landed on the Moon! I wonder why we called him Neil!

I was in Venice, Italy with my German boyfriend and we watched the moon landing on a television screen through a shop window. My son is also called Neill but with two "ll". Carol Patterson, Canada

I had called in on our new neighbours in the flat upstairs to check to see if they had a TV, they did not, so invited them in. Baboo and Inga if you are reading this, do get in touch. It was a wonderful moment to see the first man walk on the moon.

I was watching the moon landing on TV's in the assembly hall at Rosebud High School in Victoria, Australia.

Its an event that will stay in my memory forever, I watched the landing on a wooden cabinet t.v. with a tiny black and white screen ,my reaction?....amazement ..disbelief ....which I believe was a natural reaction at the time.
