Unique residential art school based at Corsham Court from 1946 - 1986 Principal was Clifford Ellis though some thought Rosemary, his wife, made a greater contribution in the actual running of the college. A re-union of ex students 1957/9 took place in 1999. Corsham Court - home of the Methuen Family, was the home of the Academy library, lecture facilities for art history, regular film shows, parties organised by Lord Methuen, and the venue for many a student relationship to flourish in the dead of the night.
