The Beatles as I remember them in 1963/4 giving a show at Blackpool - The Grand Theatre I think - summer time. Shirley Bassey was appearing elsewhere in the resort and my parents went to see her the night me and my friend Susan [ nee Jowett] Wood had beenbought tickets for this show - pure magic!

It was 1965 for me, Sheffield City Hall - screaming, crying - and that year, my first nephew was born - and his name is Paul!

I remember them just before they became famous and they played at the Aintree Institute in Walton Vale Liverpool. I always liked Paul.

Does anyone remember them appearing at the Odeon ? bottom of London Rd early 60.s...

i remember the beatles just before they hit the big time they used to sing at the end of people and places the granada television local news showcirca 1962 63

They played at the Azena ballroom, White lane, Gleadless just after Pleaseplease me was at number 1.
