s club will open on the rejuvinated ground floor and that the first floor will be available for wider community use The Old Belmont School Preservation Trust was established in 1999 by a group of local residents, former pupils and professional people, with considerable support from residents, politicians, schools and professional advisers, to acquire, restore and preserve the former Belmont Primary School building for the benefit of the local community. It is a single project Building Preservation Trust with charitable status. A Friends Group has been established. The Friends of Belmont School group are researching the school history and tracing past pupils.
