We’ve given Friends Reunited a new lick of paint for the New Year!

We’ve tried to make the site clearer and easier to use for all our members.

Hi, i have only just joined this site, so still trying to find my way around (I'm no PC expert !!!). I was pleased and quite taken back to see the names of old school mates back in 1970. Having sent 5 of them a message (with no reply as of yet) it makes me wonder if my messages were sent to them. Is there any way I can check this??? Also reading all my old school mates profiles there is no mention of when these profiles were submitted, it looks as if the site has not been used for over 12 months. (Southway Comprehensive, Plymouth, Devon) This dosent sound right to me and its getting me a bit worked up because I would love to make contact with them again. SORRY FOR THE MOAN.

I have come back and tried to start reusing my account here but am astonished that the location for where I live does not correctly exist.
The Isle of Man is not part of England never has been and never will be.
Inaccuracies like this devalue the site

The site is a mess and has been ever since you started messing with and tweaking the original layout. Take it right back to the layout as designed by the creators of Friends Reunited and it may become a pleasure again to read it. As it is I have stopped bothering with it.

I agree with Linda Fisher about the reply box and also the speed of the site. Has the lick of paint got stuck in the wheels? Scrolling around the site is now painfully slow and sometimes freezes. I'm occasionally loosing the will ...
