That would have scared the life out of me! I was into less dangerous activities, like identifying trees by their leaves, field & woodland creatures by their tracks, birds by their colours, map reading using ruler & compass, looking at the sky for weather patterns & the star constellations at night. I didn't mind comparatively harmless games like the obstacle race & really liked the songs around the campfire at night - "Campfires burning, draw nearer, in the gloaming we'll sing & be merry".
