Holding a sculptured piece of pastry taken from a 24 square foot Bramley apple pie bed (created on top of a traditional cast iron bed frame and using 400 apples under a crust of 30kg of puff pastry) cooked by ten third year students of Westminster College in central London, Denise helped launch today (Sunday) both the fifth annual Week and also the link up between Bramleys and the charity Comic Relief.
