So glad you mentioned George's book store-I've been trying to think of the name. Still have my Oxford dictionary which I bought there-it was one of the few things I bought with me when I left the UK in 1963.

Park Street always seemed so much steeper than it looks here. Especially when you were walking up it. What was that coffee bar on the left about half way up. There was another one round the corner from the Odean in the Broadmead area. They did a great iced coffee.

There was a temp secretarial agency called Sue Shepherd Secretarial just on the right by the lamp post where I used to get all my work from!..I love Park Street!

I seem to remember a Wimpy bar too, where we used to order a plate of chips and share them between us ! Good old 60's !
