Bristol, the Cathedral 1887

Bristol Cathedral lacks a clerestory and triforium, resulting in the aisles rising to the same height as the nave, a feature which makes Bristol
unique among English cathedrals.

Wasn't the cathedral used in a film starring Richard Burton? Weird SF type film where the power of his thoughts could demolish almost anything, cause planes to crash and generally allow his to be a very naughty boy.

I was a Chorister & pupil of the school from 1950-56, was'nt too keen on Saturday morning school, or church services twice a day, but remember going across Anchor rd to the docks, & scrounging over-ripe bananas from the crew of the ships!
