Hi My name is Linda Taylor,. I remember this particular prime minister because he was so out of touch with working class people that . he managed to give the lowest workers pay rises without really knowing how much increase it would be and that it would be a large percentage for them as they were so lowly paid to start with. Strikes began and we had a three day week in which there was more production output than in a full week!
