I used to play on this as a kid. We climbed everwhere that you shouldn't.

When I was a kid , we used to break into the castle for fun- strange really as we had free passes anyway haha

in the sixtees we all met there to listern to top of the pops its strange years later i went with my husband to acually look at the castle with interest

I knew every nook and cranny of this castle as a boy in the sixties. We climbed all over it. Of course we had no idea of the history except that Elizabeth visited once visited. I vaguely remember having to avoid a uniformed attendant when climbing in over the wall. Happy days...
