Our bus to Carmunnock used to leave from this spot in Carlton Place. I used to walk across the bridge about four times a day to and from work in a West Regent Street office. Sometimes the buses were once every hour so sometimes you had a long wait – no shelters in these days. If it rained you sheltered under the arch at the end of the bridge.
