Burger/NSPCC Charity burger 1999

Impressionist Francine Lewis in London, launching the charity burger which beat off 10,000 other entries to win the national NSPCC/Burger King Dream Burger competition. The winning entry was invented by 12 year old Plymouth schoolboy, Ben Challenor. * The 'Home-Style Chippie Burger', a combination of a beef burger, sauteed onions and bacon all topped off with Burger King's new crunchy King Fries. Ben's Burger goes on sale in July 1999 and Burger King will donate 10p for every one sold to the NSPCC.
