Charity - Variety Club of Great Britain's Children's Charity Walk - London 1973

TV sports personality Jimmy Hill, former footballer and manager, among the shoppers after setting off from Wood Green, North London, to walk an eight-mile route to The Sportsman Club in Tottenham Court Road. He was sponsored by The Sportsman for 1,000 in aid of the Variety Club of Great Britain's Children's Charity work.
