On the face of it this picture is the same as the previous one. However, there have been a few changes in the details. The Victoria Cinema has become the Gaumont, and some modifications have been carried out to the front of the building. Timothy Whites down on Stephenson Place has a new frontage, and the billiards sign has been consigned to history.
Remember this very well, the `vic used to go dancing there every Monday night and the occasional Saturday night, bring back so many happy memories this does.
