Used to be Coventry Centre for Performing Arts before it come under the university. Before this, it was the Coventry School of Music and based in Percy Street. At this time, it occupied the old school buildings alongside the ringroad. John Dowding led the staff during much of this time. Alongside him (1973-) were lecturers: Richard Baines (Noddy), Stephen Williams, and Sue Buchanon.
