Cwmyrdderch infants and junior school, it was also known as Cwm Top School. Teaching staff at the infants were 1st year Mrs Williams 2nd year, Miss Bullen and third year Miss Harris, Miss Harris later married Mr Davies from the junior school At the Junior School the teachers were; Ist Year Mrs England and Mrs prosser, 2nd year Mr Davis and Mr Lewis third year Miss Morris and Miss Cavill was fourth year and we did our eleven plus in her class, she was very strict and we had an open fire in her class and she was always stood in front of it. Miss Long was the head of the infants and Mr Williams was the head of the juniors he left and was replaced by Mrs Long I believe but I am not sure. Does anyone else have any memories of these schools. Are there any teachers left out there.
