One series which has survived the loss of its main character. Mark McManus was brilliant as the unconventional, Taggart - loved his priceless observations, especially when a case involved a trip to Edinburgh - he didn't hide his totally Glaswegian partisanship! Blythe Dunn has consolidated her role as Jackie, like her boss, she has her shortcomings but remains in command. Every episode has several gruesome murders, nothing is watered down. Like many, I also love to identify the locations.
