East Warwickshire College Clifton Rd Rugby This was opened in about 1958 on the site of the old Girls High School and was called East Warwickshire College of Further Education. It was set up as a Technical College from the old Rugby College of Technology and Arts adjacent site in Lower Hillmorton Rd. At this time the three storey building was put up at the bottom of the High School playing fields for classes in the building trades the College was used for apprentice training (15-20yr olds) for industrial and for vocational courses. There was an access road linking the sites from Clifton Road to Lower Hillmorton Road. The East Warwickshire site subsequently closed and there is now a housing estate there.
