Buildings and Landmarks - The Forth Railway Bridge - Firth of Forth - Scotland 1930

The Forth Railway Bridge, a cantilever bridge over the Firth of Forth, connecting Edinburgh with the Kingdom of Fife. Designed by Sir John Fowler and Sir Benjamin Baker and built by Sir William Arrol's company between 1883 and 1890. It was built in steel alone, being the first bridge to use that material.
