ollins as he was in charge of the school football team - "if you can't get the ball, get the man !" I recall that the team of 1955-56 won every league game until we had just two to play - needing one further win to clinch the title we drew the penultimate (against John Donne ?) and lost the last (at Kennington Park). As a result we lost the title to Joanna, who we had beaten 3-0 earlier in the season. I also recall that we were knocked out of the first round of the cup by Wyvale(?) somewhere near Lambeth Bridge. The team included Edwin Davis (me - in Goal); John Hammond and (?)Franklin at fullback; Michael Masterson, (?) Barry, and Ron Ellis were halfbacks; and the forward line included Alan Lewis, Roy King, and Eric McKenzie (who I believe later played at youth team level for Chelsea).
