I remember when he appeared at the Ritz cinema in Gordon Street, Luton. I went to the foyer to buy something during his concert and he appeared in the foyer in his stage gear.

I remember going to see Cliff at the Ritz in Gordon Street too. I went with a school friend. Her mother queued (and was one af the first persons in the queue) for tickets. We sat in the front row and were sure Cliff and the Shadows when they were on stage were looking at us. We were fifteen at the time.
