Exploration - Round the World Expedition - Arctic 1982

Sir Ranulph Fiennes (l) and Charles Burton (r) trekking across the Arctic wastes on their way to the North Pole. At this point the two explorers were facing a critical situation as the ice around them was melting as well as their back-up aircraft currently grounded. They reached the North Pole on 11th April to become the first people to do so in one season.
