Gay couple Barry Drewit (R) and Tony Barlow who fathered surrogate twins Aspen (left) and Saffron at St John The Baptist Church in Danbury, Essex, after having them baptised. Mr Barlow and Mr Drewitt took advantage of relaxed surrogacy laws in the United States to father the babies. They paid £200,000 and provided sperm to a surrogate mother in California. The couple and their twins live together in Danbury.
