The picture originates from photographs and papers taken from the Fuhrer's desk in Hitler's Bunker, which are still in existence. * According to retired freelance journalist Dave Starbuck, 60, of Walsall, West Midlands, who now has the material, the items were taken from the bunker by Ronnie Read of Paramount News after the Allies captured the city.
