I lived in a flat on Minstead Road at the foot of Gravelly Hill 1960-62. Almost the entire area was demolished to make way for Spaghetti Junction, but to my amazement 20 years later (1980s), I found both Minstead Road (the last surviving before the Junction) and the building I lived in were still there. Are they still there now (2012)?

I was born in 1972 so we both celebrated our 40th birthdays this year. At university I studied geography and ended up doing my final dissertation on Spag-J as I called it.
