LACOCK 1955: A view of the Wiltshire village of Lacock, nr Chippenham. The village, now owned by the National Trust, boasts architecture from every century since the 13th, including Lacock Abbey (founded 1232). Lacock is a popular location for television productions, including 'Pride and Prejudice' in the 1990s.

I remember that the Carpenters Arms better known as the 'Chippy' was run by Phil Maslens parents I think.
