Undated file of Woofie the dog. Campaigners are preparing for battle in an attempt to save Woofie, the dog on Death Row, whose appeal is due to be heard in court on Friday 20th November 1998. The owners' (Terry and Anne Swankie from Peterhead, north-east Scotland) lawyer, Trevor Cooper, will be joined by a French lawyer representing screen legend and animal rights campaigner Brigitte Bardot for the case in Edinburgh.
