Marilyn Monroe 1956

Hollywood's Marilyn Monroe at a press conference she gave at the Savoy Hotel, London. In the background is Sir Laurence Olivier with whom she will star in the new film The Sleeping Prince. Marilyn had driven up for the conference from Englefield Green, Surrey. She was never nominated for an Oscar, although she did win a Golden Globe in 1960 for Some Like It Hot.
