Mercury statue 2003

An 8-meter high fibre-glass statue of rock star Freddie Mercury is hoisted into position at the Dominion Theatre, central London. The fibre glass statue, weighing 3/4 of a tonne, will be outside the theatre where the Queen musical We Will Rock You is currently playing. * Sculptured by Stephen Pyle the statue has been hoisted onto the theatre's the front of house canopy.
