The college has been teaching the young people of Eastbourne on this site since 1961, at this time it was known as the Eastbourne Grammar School for boys. In 1977 the Grammar school and the Eastbourne Girls High School merged and in 1979 the school became a Sixth Form College. In 1993 the college became incorporated and has developed and grown to become a highly regarded Further education college. In 1994 the College took on a new identity and became Park College.
