The "pirate" radio ship Radio Caroline aground in rough water between Frinton and Holland on Sea, where she was blown by a gale during the night. Five disc jockeys were taken off by breeches buoy were among those rescued from the vessel.
Remembered more than a year ago
Radio's Caroline North & South, Radio England, Radio Scotland.....they were all Great Pirate Radio Stations...........when Music was Music.

No doubt the other radio stations were good, but Radio Caroline will always be remembered as THE pirate radio station.
