ONE OF THE SIX RAF TORNADO GR1 FROM 14 SQUADRON, BRUGGEN, GERMANY, ENROUTE FOR DUTY IN THE GULF. *16/02/01 RAF warplanes struck Iraqi air defences near Baghdad, just after the Prince of Wales flew into the region. The RAF has Tornado and Jaguar aircraft based in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. The attacks triggered anti-aircraft fire and sirens across the Iraqi capital that drove frightened residents from the streets.
