Raleigh no longer produce motorcycles but we still design and distribute thousands of bicycles and accessories from our site in Eastwood, Nottingham.

Raleigh once built a moped called a Raleigh Runabout I used to ride one 1970 model when I was a Post Office messenger in 1971 to 1974 this moped was belt driven so in the rain the belt drive would get wet and just spin , so it slowed you down to a snails pace but it was a decent bike the fuel tank was located on the top of the rear mudguard and was two stroke .
