King George VI reaches out with a friendly pat for his granddaughter, Princess Anne Elizabeth Alice Louise just christened, at Buckingham Palace. Holding the baby is the royal mother Princess Elizabeth, and in the centre is the baby's aunt, Princess Margaret. The baby wore the Royal robe of Honiton lace handed down from Queen Victoria's days.
