Royalty - Festival of Britain Opening Ceremony - London1951
King George VI makes the world broadcast speech in which he opened the Festival of Britain after the dedication services. Flanking the dais are members of the royal family, the Cabinet and other members of Parliament.
I went to the exhibition on the South Bank. I remember The 'Dome', the 'Pylon', the 'Telekinema' where I saw myself on a television screen for the very first time!
