SACKED KENNY IS STUNNED 1970

Looking very despondent alongside some of his expensive equipment is DJ Kenny Everett in his own studio at his home in Holland Road this evening after he had been sacked by the BBC for his remarks about the transport minister's wife passing her advanced driving test and for criticising the BBC in a pop music paper.Everett, who was stunned by the dismissal, built the 4,000 studio in his flat to record his show for the BBC.
