This was a picture still shot taken from 'Look at Life Swinging London short movie produced by the Rank Organisation. They showed many Look at Life series in the interval in London area Gaumont and Odeon Cinemas as a fill-in during the interval between Main movie and supporting B Movies.
What is that bloke doing half way up the road-sign pole? On the film, the commentator missed the pun joke about Sam Widges (Sandwiches - get it ?) He just described it as a coffee bar. Very odd '

I used to play ryhthm jazz guitar with 'Banjo' George and Sid Katznell her on Saturday nights in the mid sixties.
