Star Trekkin' by The Firm 1987

The gentlemen behind The Firm created this record, and released 500 copies to radio stations when they were unable to secure a record deal with a major label. The radio stations loved it, played it and The Firm went on to press more copies themselves (turning down a major label who tried to pick up on it's sudden rise in popularity) and reached number #1, staying there for two weeks. It seemed like longer though, didn't it?
